St. George – St. James Episcopal Church sits right near the Lackawanna River located in Jermyn, PA 18433. Between the river and the church is the WWI veterans park. It’s a beautiful place along the river.
If I remember correctly I’m told the church is 133 years old. When you get upstairs and inside the church it really is a beautiful church.
The carpet in the church is 26 years old and so a professional cleaning was in order. It is common for dust and soil to build up and accumulate over time around door sills, baseboard moldings, and underneath baseboard heaters.
Per the job we we were mindful to vacuum well in these areas to prepare the floor for the cleaning. We proceeded to vacuum all areas including the stairs. Stairs is another area that dust and dirt tend to build up inside the crevices especially where the tread meets the riser.
