By using the services of SELECT Carpet Clean LLC, you agree to the terms outlined here, effective as of the date noted above. These terms are legally binding and govern your relationship with SELECT Carpet Clean LLC.

1. Modifications to Terms and Conditions

SELECT Carpet Clean LLC reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website with a revised effective date. Continued use of our services after any modifications implies your acceptance of the updated terms.

2. Services

SELECT Carpet Clean LLC offers residential and commercial carpet, tile, and grout cleaning services in Scranton, Clarks Summit, Wilkes-Barre, and surrounding areas. Our goal is to deliver high-quality cleaning with professional results. Specific service details, rates, and scheduling are determined during consultation and may vary based on property size, condition, and client requirements.

  • Tile and grout cleaning
  • Stain and odor removal
  • Upholstery cleaning (if applicable)
  • Floor sealing/coating
  • Custom services available upon request

3. Appointments

Appointments are subject to availability and may require a minimum notice period and/or deposit based on service demand and scheduling needs.

🔐 Appointment Deposit, Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Deposit Policy

  • A deposit is required to secure your appointment. For most standard residential services, this is typically $50.
  • Deposit amounts may vary at our discretion based on job complexity, location, or scope of work.
  • All deposits are non-refundable and applied toward your final service total unless otherwise noted in your quote.
  • For commercial clients with prior arrangements, deposit terms may vary based on agreements with SELECT Carpet Clean LLC.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations Within 48–72 Hours: Your deposit will be forfeited. This serves as a cancellation fee for late notice. A new deposit will be required to rebook.
  • Cancellations Within 24–48 Hours: Your deposit will be forfeited. An additional $25 late cancellation fee applies. A new deposit will be required to rebook.
  • Cancellations Within 24 Hours: The full service charge is due. Your deposit is forfeited, and a new deposit will be required to rebook.

These policies reflect the value of our time and the operational planning dedicated to each appointment.

Rescheduling Policy

  • More Than 72 Hours in Advance: Your deposit will transfer to your new appointment date. A $25 administrative rescheduling fee applies.
  • Rescheduling Within 24–72 Hours: A $50 rescheduling fee applies. This must be paid before a new appointment is confirmed.
  • Same-Day Rescheduling (Within 24 Hours): A $75 rescheduling fee applies. This must be paid before rescheduling can occur.

Note: Same-day rescheduling must be requested before your scheduled appointment time. Otherwise, it will be treated as a cancellation and subject to the full service charge.

🔁 Rescheduling Limit: Clients may reschedule once per booking. Additional changes will be treated as cancellations and subject to applicable cancellation fees.

🚫 Non-Refundable Rescheduling Fees: All rescheduling fees are non-refundable and are required to confirm your new appointment.

📌 Rescheduling fees are separate from your service charge and do not apply as credit toward your final invoice.

No-Show Policy

If we arrive and no one is present to provide access at the scheduled time, your deposit will be forfeited. A new deposit will be required to rebook.

🔐 Commercial Client Short-Notice Cancellation Policy

  • Less Than 24 Hours Notice: A fee equal to 50% of the total quoted service will be charged.
  • Less Than 12 Hours Notice: The full quoted service amount will be charged.
  • Multi-Visit Contracts: Cancellation penalties are calculated proportionally. Example: 1 of 3 visits = 33% penalty.

Please Note: Repeated short-notice cancellations may affect your priority status for future scheduling. Our policies are designed to ensure fairness, maintain efficiency, and protect availability for clients who consistently honor their appointments.

4. Payments

Payment Terms: Payment is due upon completion of services unless an alternative arrangement has been made with our team prior to service. We accept cash, credit/debit cards, checks, and electronic payments. Receipts will be provided via email.

By scheduling service and allowing work to begin, the client acknowledges agreement to the terms outlined in the service quote and accepts responsibility for full payment upon completion.

Commercial Clients & Invoicing: For commercial accounts with pre-approved billing terms, invoices are due based on the mutually agreed schedule. Quotes and service terms are binding once accepted—via digital approval, email confirmation, or commencement of service.

If payment is not received by the due date, a late fee of up to 10% may be applied to the outstanding balance, at our discretion. Interest may also accrue. Repeated late payments may result in reduced scheduling priority and a shift to prepayment terms.

5. Satisfaction Guarantee and Refunds

Satisfaction Guarantee: If you're not fully satisfied, notify us within 24 hours. We’ll address concerns and, if needed, provide a re-service at no charge.

Refunds: Generally not provided unless a re-service fails to resolve the issue. Refund eligibility is at SELECT Carpet Clean LLC’s sole discretion.

6. Customer Responsibilities

  • Remove small furniture and fragile items from service areas.
  • Secure pets and inform us of any special considerations.
  • Provide access to water, electricity, and service areas.

Failure to prepare the area may affect service quality and may result in additional charges.

7. Liability and Limitations

Damage Liability: We take precautions to protect your property. We are not liable for pre-existing issues. Our liability is limited to repair/replacement of areas directly damaged by our technicians.

Limitations: We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including lost use, profits, or economic losses resulting from services rendered.

8. Use of Website and Online Bookings

All website content is owned by SELECT Carpet Clean LLC and protected under intellectual property law. Unauthorized use or reproduction is prohibited.

We strive for website accuracy but reserve the right to correct any errors or omissions.

9. Privacy and Data Collection

Your privacy is important. Any personal information collected is used solely for service fulfillment, communication, and internal improvement. We do not sell or share your information except as required to deliver services or comply with the law.
