By using the services of SELECT Carpet Clean LLC, you agree to the terms outlined here, effective as of the date noted above. These terms are legally binding and govern your relationship with SELECT Carpet Clean LLC.

Modifications to Terms and Conditions

SELECT Carpet Clean LLC reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website with a revised effective date. Continued use of our services after any modifications implies your acceptance of the updated terms.

1. Services

SELECT Carpet Clean LLC offers residential and commercial carpet, tile, and grout cleaning services in Scranton, Clarks Summit, Wilkes-Barre, and surrounding areas. Our goal is to deliver high-quality cleaning with professional results. Specific service details, rates, and scheduling are determined during consultation and may vary based on property size, condition, and client requirements.

Scope of Services

  • Carpet cleaning
  • Tile and grout cleaning
  • Stain and odor removal
  • Upholstery cleaning (if applicable)
  • Floor sealing/coating
  • Additional or customized services may be available upon request, subject to scheduling and additional charges.

2. Appointments

Appointments are subject to availability and may require a minimum notice period and/or a deposit based on service demand and availability.

Appointment Deposit, Cancellation, and Rescheduling Policy

To secure your appointment, a $50 deposit is required at the time of scheduling. This deposit will be applied toward the final service cost. For commercial clients with prior arrangements, deposit requirements may vary according to agreed terms with SELECT Carpet Clean LLC.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made more than 72 hours in advance will incur a $25 administrative fee.
  • Cancellations within 72 hours will incur a $50 fee.
  • Cancellations within 48 hours will incur a $75 fee.
  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment will be subject to the full service charge.

Rescheduling Policy

Rescheduling requests made more than 24 hours in advance will have the deposit transferred to the new appointment date with no penalty.

Same-Day Rescheduling: If rescheduling is requested on the same day as the scheduled appointment, a $50 rescheduling fee will apply. This must be paid before a new appointment is confirmed.

The rescheduling fee is in addition to the original service charge and does not apply as a credit toward the final invoice.

No-Show Policy: If we arrive at your scheduled appointment time and no one is present to provide access, the deposit will be forfeited, and a new deposit will be required to rebook.

Short-Notice Cancellations and "Bumps" by Commercial Clients

For commercial clients, including but not limited to hotels, event venues, and property managers, last-minute schedule changes or "bumps" due to overbookings, guest accommodations, or other circumstances will be subject to the following:

  • If notice is given less than 24 hours before the scheduled service, a fee equal to 50% of the total service charge will apply.
  • If notice is given less than 12 hours before the scheduled service, the full quoted service amount will be charged.
  • If a service is structured across multiple visits (e.g., a hotel requiring three visits for full completion), then the charge will be based on a proportional division of the total contract value. For example, if the total job is quoted at $6,000 for three visits, and one visit is canceled within 24 hours, the penalty will be based on one-third (1/3) of the total, equating to a $2,000 basis for penalty calculation.

We value strong business relationships and strive to accommodate all clients fairly. However, repeated last-minute cancellations may impact scheduling priority for future bookings.

These policies help protect our business from lost revenue and ensure that our scheduling remains efficient.

3. Payments

Payment Terms

At SELECT Carpet Clean LLC, payment is due upon completion of services unless an alternative arrangement has been agreed upon with our team prior to service. We accept cash, credit/debit cards, checks, and other electronic payment methods. Once payment is processed, a receipt will automatically be emailed to the customer.

For commercial clients with pre-approved terms, invoices are due based on the terms discussed and agreed upon by both parties. The customer will indicate agreement by approving the quote in our system, binding them to these payment terms. If payment is not received within the agreed timeframe, a 5% late fee will be applied monthly to outstanding balances until paid in full. Invoices are sent to the provided email address; if no email is provided, an invoice can be sent via text message upon request.

4. Satisfaction Guarantee and Refunds

Satisfaction Guarantee

SELECT Carpet Clean LLC is committed to delivering exceptional results. If you are not fully satisfied with our service quality, please notify us within 24 hours of service completion. We will promptly address your concerns and, if needed, provide a re-service at no additional cost.

Refund Policy

Refunds are generally not provided except in cases of demonstrable service errors or if a re-service does not satisfactorily resolve the issue. All refund eligibility is determined at the sole discretion of SELECT Carpet Clean LLC.

5. Customer Responsibilities

To ensure efficient and effective service, we ask that customers:

  • Remove small furniture and fragile items from areas to be cleaned.
  • Secure pets and inform us of any specific requirements.
  • Provide access to water, electricity, and necessary areas for service completion.

Failure to prepare the area as requested may affect service quality and could result in additional charges.

6. Liability and Limitations

Damage Liability

SELECT Carpet Clean LLC takes precautions to protect your property. However, we are not liable for pre-existing conditions or damages from unresolved property issues. Liability for any damage caused directly by our technicians is limited to the repair or replacement cost of the affected area or item.

Limitations of Liability

SELECT Carpet Clean LLC is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from our services, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of profits, or any other economic loss.

7. Use of Website and Online Bookings

All content on our website, including text, images, and graphics, is the property of SELECT Carpet Clean LLC and is protected under intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of website content is strictly prohibited.
